Sydney Showground’s outstanding venues are complemented by an experienced team of event specialists whose role is to oversee every detail of an event, large or small. Each team member is passionate about the event industry and committed to working collaboratively with clients to deliver the best outcome.
The team was recently awarded 2011 Best Venue Team by the Exhibition and Event Association of Australia.
First point of contact
The Business Development team is the first point of contact for clients. The team’s role is to provide advice on venue availability, venue capacities, logistics, catering and negotiating the event contract.
Each team member has a deep understanding of the venue and the event industry, enabling them to provide a range of creative options for each proposal received.
A dedicated Event Planner is introduced to the client by the Business Development team and co-ordinates the organisation of the event, including set-up, catering and operational arrangements.
On the day
A team of Floor Managers ensures the smooth operation of the event on the day of the exhibition, conference or dinner.
