2008 has been one of the busiest years on record for the Sydney Showground hosting over 600 events and meetings.
Highlights for the year include Gladiators, World Youth Day, the Dalai Lama visit and The Sydney Motor Cycle Show which have demonstrated the diversity and flexibility of the venues and expertise of the Showground staff.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support in 2008. We look forward to working with you in 2009 and wish you a happy festive season.

Scouts Australia NSW Centenary Celebrations
We go out of our way to make unforgettable events and our unique venues make just about anything possible. Sydney Showground recently hosted the Scouts Australia NSW Centenary Celebrations.
The Playfair function room was set up for a celebratory dinner for approximately 200 members of the scouting community and they were able to overlook the almost 500 Scouts and Leaders camping in the open air Main Arena at the Centenary Camp on the same night - a fitting backdrop and a truly memorable celebration.

The Macquarie Group Sydney Royal Wine Show cellar doors will open to the public for one day only for an exclusive preview and tasting of the best Australian wines of 2009 including the recently awarded trophy and medal winners.
All inclusive tickets are only $50 (or $55 if purchased on the door) and include unlimited tastings of over 2300 Australian wines, free Judges' Tutorial where you will learn about the judging system, new varietals and trends plus how to taste wine like a wine judge.
