For the next three months, Sydney Showground will introduce a new complimentary storage initiative designed to support its valued clients and suppliers in response to ongoing global economic pressures and high fuel prices.
The initiative forms part of the venue’s recently launched Customer Service Charter, offering complimentary short-term storage for event materials and equipment. It will help clients and suppliers manage increasing transport and logistics costs while improving operational efficiency.
Available for a three-month trial period from 1 May to 31 July, the complimentary storage aims to reduce transport movements by enabling clients with upcoming events to consolidate deliveries and collections. It will also support more efficient bump-out processes, helping to reduce fuel-related expenses.
Sydney Showground General Manager, Darryl Jeffrey, said collaboration between the venue, clients and suppliers is key to the continued success of the Australian events industry.
“This initiative is a direct reflection of our Customer Service Charter and our commitment to working in partnership with our clients and suppliers to deliver the best experiences possible,” said Jeffrey.
“We understand the real cost pressures being faced across the industry, and we’re focused on providing practical, flexible solutions that support our partners while maintaining operational excellence.”
With a jam-packed calendar from May to the end of the year, storage availability will be subject to venue capacity as Sydney Showground ensures the seamless delivery of events remains the top priority.
Interested clients and suppliers are encouraged to speak with their event manager to explore storage availability and discuss their individual requirements during the trial period.
