Sydney Showground ends 2025 with a bang, celebrating a record year and a milestone attendance.

Premier event venue Sydney Showground has officially celebrated its most successful financial year to date, delivering a record number of major events, its highest client satisfaction rating and hosting the largest ENGIE Stadium event in its history.

From October 2024 to September 2025, more than 160 major events took place at Sydney Showground, welcoming over 2 million visitors to the venue.

This included an impressive lineup of new and standalone events such as the Sydney Boat Show, which brought the indoor portion of its showcase to Sydney Showground in August, and the Lions Den, as part of the British & Irish Lions Tour.

Beloved RnB festival Fridayz Live also marked a milestone for the venue in October, with an impressive turnout of 44,000 attendees, making it the biggest concert ever held at ENGIE Stadium.

“Having wrapped up our 2025 financial year, I’m delighted to say that it has been our biggest year to date. We have hosted more major events than ever before, welcomed a 20% increase in new clients, and achieved an all-time high client satisfaction rating of 97%,” said Sydney Showground General Manager, Darryl Jeffrey.

“We couldn’t be happier with where our team currently stands and how we’ve grown over the past 12 months, particularly in the stadium events sector.

“Hosting Pearl Jam and Green Day this past financial year, we’ve demonstrated that ENGIE Stadium has so much to offer a wide range of artists, including international superstar Bad Bunny, who will take over the venue across two nights early next year.”

This year, Sydney Showground’s ENGIE Stadium was ranked among the Top 10 stadiums in Australia and New Zealand, reflecting the business’s focus on adapting to client and consumer needs.

“As a venue, we are always evolving to meet clients’ needs and working alongside them to respond to consumer demand. It is this flexibility and client-focused approach that has continued to drive our business and has made this our best year yet.”

Conducting a recent customer satisfaction survey, Sydney Showground celebrated a 97% customer service satisfaction rating this year, with its sales, operations, and floor managers receiving a 4.8 out of 5 stars for service, and staff described as flexible, professional and friendly.

To ensure it continues to drive customer satisfaction, Sydney Showground will launch a Customer Service Charter later this month, laying out a bold vision for exceptional service and collaborative partnerships.

With very little downtime on the horizon, the venue is looking forward to another busy Summer with Good Things Festival, Big Bash Cricket and Bad Bunny just around the corner.
