Pregnancy Babies and Children's Expo - 2020

In delivering our December exhibition, we were fortunate enough to work with a venue that was flexible, supportive and solution focused. The team at Sydney Showground went above and beyond to ensure we were able to run our event and provided a COVID Safe environment for both visitors and exhibitors. The show delivered above expectations with over 11,000 quality buyers. The collaborative attitude provided a win, win scenario for the venue, buyers, sellers and the PBCE team.

Dog Lovers Show - 2019

Making the decision to relocate our event from Moore Park to Sydney Showground was made easier by the passion and interest shown by the team at Sydney Showground. They went above and beyond to get to know not only our event, but worked on building a relationship with myself and my team. The progression from sales to operations, to marketing and on site management was seamless and delivered by competent staff members at every point. Sydney Showground showed an invested interest to help grow our event, by engaging the different departments assistance and providing introductions with external partners along the way. With pre-show jitters and half an hour to go, we were overwhelmed to see the long line of visitors waiting to come in. The event covered a 50% larger footprint and opened the event up to a new audience attracting over 30,000 visitors, our biggest Sydney crowd yet!

RNB Fridays Live - 2018

I have worked on a number of different shows with the team at Sydney Showground over the past few years. It was based on this positive experience that we decided to take our our marquee touring event in RNB Fridays Live from an arena to GIANTS Stadium at Sydney Showground.

The team at Sydney Showground were incredibly proactive in terms of addressing unique operational challenges that we faced due to such a large festival style crowd that were being entertained for 8+ hours but via a concert style format of 1 stage . A collaborative approach was taken with the Frontier site/operations team and the venues senior management team to expand the footprint and offer extensive facilities, creating a unique and unmatched Paton experience. 

Their team went above and beyond through the sales process, their marketing team helped promote the show through their channels and the F&B team provided some innovative F&B concepts as well streamlined service process to ensure speedy service. 

Ultimately the stadium show was a huge success, it was a sell-out, with the highest recorded attendance ever at GIANTS Stadium. The attendee’s feedback has been terrific. RnB Friday’s Live will return in 2019 to GIANTS Stadium at Sydney Showground.

Flight Centre - 2018

Another successful World Travel Expo at the Sydney Showground with record crowds through the door over the two days. It's always a pleasure bringing our travel expos to the venue three times per year and working with the very professional and always helpful Sales, Planning and Operational teams.

International Productions has produced many events at Sydney Showground over many years including large scale dinners, expo's, plenary sessions and multi-day festivals. The team at Sydney Showground are always a pleasure to work with. The sales team understand our role as an Event Management Agency and show great respect for our relationships with our clients and suppliers. The event planning team see us as an extension to their team and this ensures that we all work together to ultimately get the right result for the end client. The team onsite to deliver our events are always helpful, courteous and professional and that makes our job so much easier - ensuring that the environment onsite is calm, pleasant and enjoyable. Sydney Showground is always high on our list of venues to encourage our clients to use thanks to their flexibility, professionalism and willingness to work with us.

Jeunesse Gala Dinners - 2018

Initially we selected Sydney Showground for the Jeunesse Gala Dinners, due to the uniqueness of the venue (the Dome), their proven ability to work with large international incentive groups and the quality of the food and beverage.

From when we first met the Sydney Showground team in February 2017 to when we delivered the event. The Sydney Showground team have been a pleasure to work with throughout the sales and operational process.

Both events were a huge success with terrific feedback from Jeunesse senior management and those that attended the dinners. We look forward to working with Sydney Showground again in the future.

X Games Australia - 2018

The staff, I cannot express enough how awesome every staff member that we dealt with was. It is the first time in my career that it honestly felt like the venue were part of the team, and a very important part of the team at that. This was a difficult event due to the weather but everyone went out of their way to support us either through actions or those that could not just moral support, which meant a great deal to the team and me’

Just to reiterate what a great bunch of people we worked with from Sydney Showground, everyone from the top down. I am definitely an advocate of Sydney Showground. The venue also worked for our event so hopefully we will be back in 2019!

Invictus Games - 2018

I am writing to formally thank you and the entire Sydney Showgrounds team for the support and work on the Invictus Games 2018. From when we conducted the initial site inspection with you in December 2017, it was evident that we were going to be working with a collaborative venue that put their customers first.

The sales team were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable through the initial scoping stage and clearly had a strong working relationship with the operations and catering team. Everyone worked collaboratively to tailor an excellent offer to our very unique requirements, which later became Invictus Games House.

Throughout the planning and operational phases, the team couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful to deal with. Nothing was a problem and there was always a proactive approach to problem solving. Our requirements continuously changed in the lead up to and during the event and the team took it in their stride. They in essence became an arm of our operations team.

The feedback we have had about the venue from our team but more importantly the Invictus Games Foundation, the competitors, and their family and friends has been second to none. I don’t think any of our clients will ever forget Invictus Games House, where your staff catered for over 50,000 meals during our tenancy, whilst making our team and competitors feel like a home away from home.

I sincerely look forward to the opportunity of working with the Sydney Showground team on future projects and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your venue and team to other major event organisers.
