Premium event venue Sydney Showground and leading Net Zero consultancy Clima have celebrated the extension of the venue’s Climate Conscious Events (CCE) program by making sustainable events even more achievable through a new, free Sydney Showground Event Carbon Calculator (CCE calculator).

Taking its investment in sustainability beyond the event space, Sydney Showground has announced a 12-month partnership deal with ocean conservation organisation, Ocean Crusaders in an exciting project for the premier event venue.  

Good Things are on the horizon for Sydney Showground this December, as Australia’s largest and favourite travelling music festival, Good Things Festival, confirms its relocation to the Sydney venue after six years at Centennial Park.

ENGIE Stadium and Sydney Showground will now save over 2,200 single-use cups per event thanks to an exciting three-year partnership with sustainable aluminium cup provider, WOSUP, which will see the upgrade of all cups for draught beverage options at the venue.

ydney Thunder are set to become the first KFC Big Bash League club to run a carbon-neutral match when they welcome the Thunder Nation to ENGIE Stadium tonight. In collaboration with ENGIE Stadium, the club calculated their carbon footprint through Sydney Showground's Climate Conscious Event initiative partner Clima, and purchased an equivalent amount of carbon credits with ENGIE Stadium to offset the impact.
