For sporting events, eskies can be brought in, but must be able to fit under your seat. Please note all eskies are subject to security screening on entry.

For all sporting events, merchandise is available inside Gate D and near aisle 229 (Sydney Royal Stand). Additional outlets may be available depending on the event.

Is it safe to walk through the security detection system?

Yes, the security detection system patrons pass through is a Metrasens FMDS and has no effect either on the human body or on any medical implant or device.

ENGIE Stadium offers various accessible facilities to ensure a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all patrons. These include a quiet room, for those requiring a sensory-friendly space, two parents' rooms, and an adult assisted change room for individuals with disabilities.

Where are the facilities located?

Parents' Room: There are two conveniently located parents’ room facilities: one on the stadium concourse across from the Members Stand entrance, and one on Grand Parade.

Quiet Room & Adult Assisted Change Room: The quiet room and adult assisted change room are both located on Grand Parade. 

Pass Out Required: Please note, these accessible amenities are located outside the stadium footprint. Patrons attending stadium events must collect a pass out from the gate staff before accessing these facilities.

What is the purpose of the quiet room?

The quiet room provides a sensory-friendly space for individuals who may need a calm and quiet environment. It is designed to ensure comfort and relaxation, helping patrons manage sensory sensitivities. Featuring calm lighting, tactile and visual elements to help patrons refocus and desensitise, acoustic panelling for even quieter sound, soft bean bag chairs and space to relax. 


What amenities are available in the parents room?

The parents room is light and bright, equipped with essential amenities to cater to the needs of parents and young children, ensuring comfort and convenience during your visit. 

The Grand Parade location includes both a family toilet room and separate accessible toilet facilities, nursing spaces with privacy curtains, multiple change tables, and a family relaxation space with kitchenette facilities. 

The stadium concourse location includes a private nursing area, change table, and microwave. 


What can I find in the adult assisted change room?

The adult assisted change room is designed to cater to individuals with disabilities, offering a safe and hygienic environment equipped with the necessary facilities to support their needs. Use of the room requires a NSW issued MLAK key and approved harness. A trained carer/helper must be present at all times. Includes a fully electric hoist and height-adjustable adult change table.

Sensory Bags

Sensory bags are available at ENGIE Stadium events to provide essential tools to help individuals manage sensory sensitivities. Each bag includes headphones/earmuffs, available in both adult and child sizes, and fidget toys to help manage sensory overload. 

When are sensory bags available? Sensory bags are available at select events when the Grand Parade facilities are open. Please check the website for the specific event you are attending to confirm availability. 

How do I collect a sensory bag? To collect a sensory bag, you will need to provide a form of ID and leave your name and phone number with the quiet room staff. Your ID will be returned to you once the sensory bag is returned.

Are there water refill stations inside the stadium?

Refill stations are available inside Gates A & D of the stadium.


Can I bring a pram into the stadium?

Yes, prams can be brought into the stadium. Prams must be folded and placed under your seat or parked in one of the designated pram bays located near aisles 201, 221, 402 and 431.


Do you have a prayer room?

Yes, but the location of this space may change depending on the event. Event staff are able to assist with access to the space on an event day.

Is there first aid at the stadium?

Yes, first aid is available for all stadium events. For sporting events, first aid is located on the outer concourse behind Members Stand.

Yes, parents' room facilities are available on the outer concourse behind the Members Stand. All accessible toilets are also fitted with change tables.

We do not have wheelchairs for hire, but if you require assistance to your seat, gate staff are able to assist with a wheelchair.


Do you operate a cloak room?

There are no cloak room facilities for sporting events.

There are a number of parking stations available around Sydney Olympic Park. The closest to ENGIE Stadium are P1, P6 & P5.

Can I ride my bicycle to the stadium? Do you have bicycle parking?

Yes, bicycle parking is available on Grand Pde at Cathy Freeman Park. Bicycles cannot be brought into the stadium.

Is there alcohol-free seating?

Alcohol-free seating is available for sporting events. To secure seats in this area, simply choose the 'alcohol-free' seating option when purchasing tickets. If you have already purchased your ticket, but wish to sit in the alcohol-free area, please speak with customer service staff on the day.


What if I need accessible seating?

There are a variety of accessible seating options in the stadium. It best to contact the ticketing provider for the event to book accessible seating. Customer service staff can also assist on the day if required.
