Sydney, get ready to fire it up! Meatstock, Australia’s one-of-a-kind music and barbecue festival, is returning to Sydney Showground in 2026. The ultimate weekend of "BBQ, Bands, and Bedlam" will take place on Friday, May 1st, and Saturday May 2nd, 2026, promising an epic sensory overload of world-class barbecue and a star-studded music line-up.

The Jack Daniel’s live stage will feature an unmissable lineup of international superstars alongside some of Australia’s finest music talent. Friday kicks off with performances by L.A.B, Thundamentals, Tiki Taane & Kylie Auldist. Saturday features The Dreggs, Drax Project, The Bamboos, Karen Lee Andrews, The Slims & Bud Rokesky.

BBQ, Battles, and Bedlam

Beyond iconic music, Meatstock remains a true carnivore's dream, featuring everything fans love about the festival:

Heat Beads BBQ Wars: National and international teams will battle it out in the BBQ pit yard, vying for the title of best in their specific protein category and Grand Champion.

World Butcher Wars: This year, Meatstock Sydney will host the World Butcher Wars Challenge. The best Australia has to offer up against the rest of the world! Razor-sharp skills will be on display in a fast-paced, meat-filled, butchery showdown.

PBR Bull Riding: Get ready for the toughest 8 seconds in sport! The high-adrenaline, nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat action of the Professional Bull Riders adds a dynamic element to the festival.

Action-Packed Entertainment: You don't want to miss the infamous Better Beer Dad Bod Contest, the Beard and Mo Wars, Australia's Strongest, Arm Battles, and of course, the crowd-favourite Sausage Sizzle Throwdown.

Guests can also check out the extensive indoor and outdoor BBQ Expo to find everything they need for their at-home set-up, or for the most daring, get inked at the on-site tattoo station.
